Dear Members, Donors, Volunteers, and Community Friends,

The goal of Omega Christian Association is to support families who are grieving and facing hardship after the loss of a loved one. We are open to anyone with a good heart who wants to serve the community and stand beside families during difficult times.

For me, serving the community is not a burden. It is a source of satisfaction and joy. I grew up supporting friends, family members, and people in my community, and I have always believed that being present for others during hardship is one of the most meaningful things we can do.

My dedication comes from a simple place: I want to be with families who are impacted by unexpected death or the loss of a loved one. In those moments, families need more than words. They need people around them. They need encouragement. They need to feel that their community sees their pain and is willing to stand with them.

This is especially important for immigrant families. Many immigrants live with extended family responsibilities across countries and communities. When death happens, the emotional and financial impact can be widespread. Families may be carrying grief, financial pressure, cultural obligations, and the stress of daily life all at the same time. Sometimes, the burden is so heavy that they do not even get the chance to mourn properly.

That is why Omega Christian Association matters. We want grieving families to hear and feel one message clearly:

We are with you. You are not alone.

Through member contributions, public donations, volunteer service, and community support, we hope to bring comfort, motivation, and practical help to families facing loss and hardship.

I invite anyone with a good heart and a desire to serve to join us. Together, we can build a compassionate community that stands with families when they need support the most.

With respect and gratitude,

Bahiru Bassa
